This stunning 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring restomod was originally the top-of-the-line split bumper Z28 whale tail model, as confirmed by the build sheet. It has been fully restored and upgraded from front to back.
Powered by a 350ci LS engine with ported heads, a throttle body, cam, and intake, it produces 400 horsepower. It is coupled with a smooth-shifting Tremec 6-speed transmission and a built 3.23 Posi rear differential. The car handles like on rails and drives like a dream. It feels tight and looks the part, with a perfect stance that combines classic and modern aesthetics.
The Camaro has been lowered and stiffened for crisp, sharp handling, featuring frame connectors, KYB shocks, Eibach springs all around, polyurethane bushings, and new steering components. It is finished in a 7-stage General Motors 477P medium light beige paint with clear coat, complemented by new front and rear striping in matte black wrap (which can be removed). The braking system has been upgraded with four-wheel ventilated discs, new calipers, power booster, master cylinder, and all new brake lines.
The wheels are new Chip Foose 18-inch rims with 235/40/18 tires in front and 285/40/18 in the rear. The exhaust system has been replaced with a double Magnaflow setup, including Magnaflow mufflers and Patriot long tube headers. All gauges are new Dakota Digital units, and the window stripping has been replaced.
Additional updates include a new front windshield, new carpet, new tires, front and rear spoilers, a new engine bay setup, and a like-new underside and trunk. The car is ideal for daily driving or summer fun.
