The car is nice and solid and the glossy blue paint is beautiful, especially in the sun. For those who are going to ask, this is a "136" car so it's not a real "SS" but a sweet tribute. Under the metal big block hood you'll find a 396ci "Rat." The last three digits of the casting number is ....961 making this a 1966 396ci engine. The big block is topped off with an Edelbrock intake, Holley carburetor, and ceramic coated headers. Not to mention, a Vintage Air system keeps things nice and cold in the small interior cabin. A 700R4 trans sends the power to a 12 bolt rear diff and four wheel disc brakes keep every coming to a stop. Finding a rust free El Camino, that hasn't been beaten and abused, is no easy task but you can hop in this bad boy and head straight to the car show or go for a long cruise.
