Vehicle history:

The Citroën DS, French for goddess (pronounced “DS” sounds like the French word for goddess: “déesse”), appeared in 1955 as a four-door sedan. Two years later, the ID version was added, which was largely identical in appearance but technically simpler. The stylistically and technically extraordinary car was considered a sensation when it was unveiled. In addition to the unique body shape designed by Flaminio Bertoni, the hydropneumatic suspension was one of the most notable features of the front-wheel-drive vehicle. Even before the premiere of the DS sedan, Flaminio Bertoni was already considering a convertible version. Bertoni's first sketches date back to 1954. Between 2015 and 2019, this vehicle was expertly converted into its current convertible form. At the same time, everything was technically and visually restored, so that this goddess is now perfect and ready to drive for relaxed outings. A very exclusive and extraordinary vehicle.
