Licorne is a French automaker, produced cars in the early 1900s.
The car in question is a sports car derived from the H2 model, 1,000cc of 1931.
Famous for winning the Monte Carlo rallies in 1930 (the same model, but not this particular example).
Our car was rebuilt in every part: given the starting condition and the difficult availability of spare parts, many parts were rebuilt from scratch by skilled craftsmen.
The starter motor was added; originally it started only by hand crank.
The wooden framework of the car was handcrafted by a specialist in the field.
The iron wheels were replaced with spoke wheels with new tires with period design.
List of restored parts:
- Engine completely overhauled to new
- New brakes
- New electrical system (all working)
- New leather interior
- Car totally repainted
