THE ONE AND ONLY 1967 ALFA ROMEO 33 STRADALE PROTOTIPO BUILT BY AUTODELTA AND FERRARI F1 DIRECTOR, ENGINEER GIOVANNI MARELLI HIMSELF!
Background:
There are only TWO 1967 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Prototipo (prototype with the 4 headlights) ever built by Autodelta for Alfa Romeo. Both are red. The first Prototipo car today resides in a private museum in Japan and the second at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, Italy. Both cars have been restored and suffered mild modifications throughout the years.
Thereafter, only eight 33 Stradales were ever manufactured as production cars for the public by Carrozzeria Marazzi in 1968 and 1969. The production cars are distinguished by their two headlight design and other small body differences, including the two extra side vents on the front clamshell, a one piece rear side vents without the divider from the prototype cars, a more practical street dash design with a speedometer and simplified door opening mechanism. Those eight cars very rarely change hands and the last couple of ones sold in excess of $30 Million Dollars. The two original Prototipo 33 Stradales are museum cars that will never come up for sale.
HERE IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO BUY TODAY THE ONE AND ONLY BRAND NEW & NEVER RESTORED 1967 33 STRADALE PROTOTIPO BUILT BY AUTODELTA AND FERRARI F1 DIRECTOR AND ENGINEER GIOVANNI MARELLI HIMSELF BEFORE HE PASSED AWAY IN 2024 IN HOMAGE OF HIS GREAT LIFETIME AND RACING VICTORY ACHIEVEMENTS AT AUTODELTA AND FERRARI F1 FOR ONLY 1/10 OF THE PRICE OF ANY RECENTLY SOLD ORIGINAL 33 STRADALE BY CARROZZERIA MARAZZI.
THIS IS ONE-OF-ONE WITH THE MOST SOUGHT PROVENANCE AND PEDIGREE ONE CAN DREAM OF! A CAR BUILT BY THE LEGEND HIMSELF WITH ORIGINAL AUTODELTA DRAWINGS FROM CARLO CHITTI WHO HE WORKED WITH.
Engineer Marelli built this car to look as the very first original Prototipo with silver wheels (instead of Gold) and the central vent on the rear clamshell divided into 4 vents just like the it was featured at the time in the Italian movie "A Beautiful November" in 1969. He also chose the more practical dash with speedometer of the production street cars of Carrozzeria Marazzi.
The car is 99% complete in Red with a leather custom interior like the original design and currently fitted with the larger Alfa Romeo Montreal 2.6L engine and a custom Graziano 6 speed gearbox that makes it easier to drive than the 2.0L engine and non synchromesh 6 speed Colotti gearbox.
Retro Coachbuilders can fully customize the car for the new owner changing anything in the exterior, interior and powertrain.
For those who want a car that you can drive easily and everywhere, we suggest keeping the current 2.6L drivetrain and ordering the period correct 2L racing engine and Colotti Transmission to bring the value of this car to be in excess of $30M. You can eventually find and buy a 2 headlight production version by Carrozzeria Marazzi but you can't buy the two Prototipo cars from the museums for any price and there is and there will be ONLY ONE NEW 33 Stradale Prototipo built by Autodelta and Ferrari F1 Director, Engineer Marelli, who is no longer with us. It's like buying a Ferrari built by Enzo Ferrari himself!
