Restored way above the factory standard, over a 8-year period!
The Alfa Romeo Giulia GTC was the cabriolet version of the Giulia Sprint GT only offered between 1965 and 1966, and built in around 1,000 examples. The car was mainly based on the coupés body and parts, with the cabriolet modification being carried out by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan.
Our car was supplied new to France. About 15 years ago, it was imported to Germany and was restored with an enormous effort in first quality by an Alfa Romeo enthusiast.
The following optimisations were realised to improve the driving experience:
- Engine and gearbox in 1750 specification
- Reinforced base
- Bilstein dampers
- Big disc-brakes
- Sport steel rims with tubeless Michelin VR tires
Since works were finished, only a few hundred kilometres were driven onto.
A photo documentation about the whole restoration exists.
