Originally delivered in the Netherlands. An original service booklet is included. The car features 15-inch GTA Veloce Style alloy wheels and beautiful yellow Carello headlights. History and Documentation:
This Alfa Romeo was delivered new by Albatros Automobiel Amsterdam on May 3, 1978. The original service booklet shows regular maintenance in the early years. The first owner kept the car until 1998, and the second owner until 2011. The car is accident-free and well-maintained, making it very original. There are signs of wear consistent with its age, but it has not been restored. An RDW odometer report, an invoice from 2025, and an APK form (valid until June 17, 2027) are available. The original color combination is dark blue with a black faux leather interior. Based on maintenance records and the odometer report, it is highly likely the original mileage is 149,430 km.
Exterior:
The Alfa is finished in the stylish dark blue color "Blu Olandese." The 15-inch GTA Veloce Style alloy wheels are in very good condition. The bodywork has good panel fit and is damage-free, with some signs of wear on the paintwork and small rust spots in the wheel wells. The rubber trim and chrome are largely original. The lighting functions properly, including distinctive yellow front lights, which were mandatory in France at the time. The car has a fresh appearance and is in very original condition for its age.
Interior:
The black faux leather interior is in very original condition, showing some signs of wear such as slight tearing in the passenger seat. It features attractive gauges, a wooden dashboard, and a three-spoke wooden steering wheel. The gauges are in good working order. The interior includes heating, seat belts, and a Philips radio. The trunk is spacious and in good condition, with the Alfa logo on the rubber floor mat. A jack and spare tire are included.
Technical:
The Giulia has been well maintained by an Alfa Romeo specialist. It is fitted with Continental tires in good condition. The 4-cylinder inline engine has 1570 cm³, 8 valves, and 2 Weber carburetors, delivering 102 hp at 5500 rpm and 142 Nm of torque at 2900–3000 rpm. The car starts, drives, and shifts well, capable of keeping up in today’s traffic with a top speed of 175 km/h. Original disc brakes are installed all around.
General:
The Alfa Romeo Giulia name has been used for various models over the years, most notably the first-generation Type 105, a sporty four-door sedan built between 1962 and 1978. The original Giulia combined a powerful engine with a lightweight body of approximately 1,000 kg and featured advanced four-cylinder engines with dual overhead camshafts in 1.3- and 1.6-liter variants. It was known for its lively performance and classic design.
