This 2000 Spider Veloce:Delivered new to Germany on the 31st of August 1981 via Autovertrieb Kaiserslautern GmbH, this late-production second series Spider Veloce remains in beautifully preserved condition. Finished in rare Biancospino AR013 (not often seen of Spiders) over a beautifully patinated Bordeaux leatherette upholstery, it retains its matching-numbers engine and 5-speed gearbox.

The car’s 93.250 km's are fully documented via TÜV reports, invoices and correspondence dating back to the early 1980s. Its originality is evident in the details - factory weldspots, pressings and panel gapping, and the rust-free undercarriage is simply exceptional. The carpets have been renewed to a high standard somtime in the past, while the seat upholstery appears original and beautifully patinated.Mechanically, it performs as impressively as it presents. The engine fires instantly thanks to a proper carburettor setup (this one has a pair of Solex carbs) and 1-2-3 electronic ignition, the gearbox shifts just as smoothly and recent work includes rebuilt brakes and some suspension components. The original Philips DC864 radio (with manual) is included, though a tasteful Pininfarina blanking plate is currently fitted. The Spider currently sits on a nearly new set of 6J x 14" Cromodora CD 855 wheels, but the original 14" steel wheels are present as well.

Offered with a superb history file, all original keys, manuals, spare wheel, tonneau cover and jack this is a rare chance to acquire a genuinely original and well-documented example of Alfa’s enduring open-top icon. Currently supplied with exported German registration, we can deliver the car on Dutch plates including a fresh MOT (APK) included in the asking price. We do also ship worldwide, so we can deliver the car to your home address if you so wish. Just reach out for a quote!

The Series 2 Spider market presents a wide spread in terms of price and inevitably quality... This example sits at the higher echolons of that spread in terms of quality and is priced very attractively.

Bite-size:
It will be difficult to find a better sorted series 2 Spider and this one benefits from a great colour specification as well. This example does not leave much on the table, so don't miss it!
