Daf 66 Marathon 1300 Combi 1975 with variomatic

The Marathon was the sport version of the DAF models, but the rarest of these was the combi or estate car.
Only 27 are currently registered in the Netherlands. This is an original DAF 1300 Marathon from 1975.
Newly delivered in France, it was then restored and reconditioned in Germany before returning to an enthusiast in the Netherlands, its home country.

Delivered in sturdy Kobina white with the recognisable Marathon striping and rims. It is also equipped with Hassia spotlights.
The bodywork is beautifully sleek and was repainted in 2023. There are some signs of wear, but overall it is a very neat and absolutely rust-free body.
The interior features the original nun's cap seats, Marathon steering wheel and wood-look dashboard. The centre console is also available as an extra option with a working rev counter and temperature gauge.
The seats are comfortable and offer plenty of comfort during a fun drive!

Technically, the Station is equipped with the original 1,298cc Marathon 4-cylinder engine with 57 hp. It is in beautiful condition and has only driven 7,000 kilometres since its overhaul.
Take a look at the pictures and you will immediately see that it has been well and beautifully restored. The engine is linked to the Variomatic automatic transmission and drives absolutely superbly. It accelerates well and quickly, as you would expect from a Marathon.
