This Delahaye 135 MS Worblaufen convertible has an exceptional appearance. It features sporty body lines and a sloping grille, complemented by Art Deco forms, a carefully chosen paint color, and an interior with a remarkable dashboard, transparent three-spoke steering wheel, and transparent buttons that draw attention.
Only six examples of the Worblaufen-built Delahaye 135 MS convertible were produced. This particular car has a front end design not found on the other five, giving it an exceptionally balanced and unique appearance. It is considered the most beautiful of the six.
The car is equipped with a side-hinged hood covering a 3,557 cc inline-6 engine with an overhead camshaft and three carburetors. It is paired with a Cotal transmission and produces 132 hp.
Originally registered in Switzerland until 2014, it has held a Dutch license plate since March 2015. The engine was overhauled in 1998, and the bodywork was repainted in fall 2015 to restore its original off-white color. The interior is almost entirely fitted with original leather.
This spacious four-seater convertible is in very good condition. The documentation includes various maintenance and restoration invoices, original brochures, restoration photos, and a factory statement confirming that only six units were built.
