Description

Welcome to Oscarssons Bil AB in Mellerud, one of the oldest companies in Sweden dealing with classic cars, with the highest credit rating – 44 years in the business!

Dodge Coronet Hardtop 1969

400 cui stroked to 500 cui, built with high-quality components and aluminum heads from 440 Source – all inspected and balanced in Sweden. The engine bottom end is reinforced with a main girdle from 440 Source. The engine block has been filled with block filler up to the frost plugs for maximum stability and durability. Fitted with a 6-quart oil pan for increased oil capacity. The camshaft is relatively mild, with hydraulic lifters. Duration: 224.050 intake / 234.050 exhaust. Valve lift: 0.500 intake / 0.520 exhaust. Blown with a Mooneyham 8/71 supercharger, mounted on an Indy blower intake. Equipped with a Moroso vacuum pump to create crankcase vacuum. Twin Holley EFI X-Terminator systems installed by Brillko Engineering, with dual fuel pumps at the tank, along with filters, regulator, and return line. Tuned for and runs on E85 ethanol. Dyno sheet available, showing 781 HP and 1177 Nm.
Since then, EFI fuel injection and the vacuum pump have been installed and tuned, which means the engine is now estimated to produce around 850 HP and over 1200 Nm of torque.
The 727 TorqueFlite transmission has been heavily reinforced and prepped to handle the power, with a high-performance torque converter from A-E Transmission. Driveshaft is built by Svea Kardan and designed to withstand the power.
Factory-new, shortened Strange Dana 60 rear axle with TrueTrac differential, Pinion Snubber, and 3.55 gear ratio. Rolling on Convo Pro Street wheels – 7x15 front, 10x15 rear. Upgraded audio system.
Rear suspension has new, stiffer leaf springs, and the front has heavier torsion bars. All suspension bushings have been replaced with upgraded, red polyurethane versions. Front disc brakes. Line lock. Subframe connectors. MSD ignition system.
Hooker Competition headers, ceramic-coated. Dual 3" exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. 180-amp alternator. Hi-Jackers in the rear.
The car is completely rust-free and in excellent condition throughout. Painted in a stunning blue metallic with black R/T stripes. Built and set up for both performance and drivability. Cruises smoothly and calmly under normal driving – but when you hit the throttle, the car transforms into a beast, with an endless feeling of power.

The car costs SEK 795.000, which corresponds to about 72.000 Euro.
