Gardner Douglas, the leading British manufacturer of Cobra replicas (he refers to them as "Cobra-inspired"), has built this special version based on his MK 3 with a square-tube racing chassis. Only two were produced, and this is the only left-hand-drive example.
The car is equipped with a 380 cv Corvette V8 engine paired with a close-ratio 5-speed Getrag transmission and a limited-slip differential. It weighs just 910 kg and features a genuine racing-derived square-tube chassis and a monocoque body, the only one of its kind. Unlike other Cobra replicas, it offers Porsche-like driving quality, being free of torsional flex or abnormal noises.
Another particularly interesting aspect is its certification as a classic car, with the year of manufacture listed as 1965 in the registration document. This allows you to enjoy all the financial benefits reserved for classic vehicles, including reduced-rate transfer of ownership, subsidized insurance with a special premium, and exemption from road tax.
The purchase price can be financed over 12 to 84 months, even without a down payment. You have the option to include the cost of the title transfer, warranties, maintenance, and additional services in the financing.
We accept your used vehicle as a trade-in, even if its value exceeds that of the vehicle you’re purchasing, resulting in a credit in your favor. We can deliver the vehicle directly to your home anywhere in Italy or Europe.
All used vehicles for sale undergo a general inspection by our partner repair shops before delivery. They come with a 12-month legal warranty of conformity, including a statement of condition and mileage certification. An option to extend the warranty up to 36 months, with roadside assistance included, is also available. Rates vary based on the vehicle and the selected warranty package.
