Description

Blu Ollandese, perhaps the most beautiful color for an Alfa Romeo from the 105 series. In this case also equipped with that delicious 2000 engine with dual Weber carburetors. This example was first admitted to driving in the United States in 1974. The car has been fully restored and is in wonderful condition. The bodywork looks fantastic and is free of user marks. The sheet metal is nice and thin and the fits are correct. The "Blu Ollandese" paint is very well painted and looks beautiful. The chrome trim on the body is also in very good condition. The interior features black carpets and beige vinyl upholstery that matches the car beautifully. The 2000 GTV was reupholstered during the restoration and the seats are in top condition. Naturally, the typical wooden steering wheel and the long gear stick are not missing. The ergonomics in this Alfa Romeo are un-Italian good. Once you take a seat, it is very easy to find a comfortable position. It is therefore not surprising that the 2000 GTV is still such a beloved classic. It is a wonderful car to take on a lot of driving but is also perfectly capable of covering long distances in comfort. Also noteworthy is the well maintained condition of the dashboard. All instruments and controls are perfectly in place and function as they should. The 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine with double overhead camshafts produces 132 hp at 5,500 rpm and is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. The engine makes light work of the only 1,028-pound Italian coupé. The car sits on the iconic turbine wheels and is fully "ready to go". The car comes complete with a copy of the original Alfa Romeo instruction booklet. All that is left for you to do is get in and enjoy this fantastic Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce.
