The 2600 Touring Spider was introduced to the audience in 1963. The convertible was as the name already suggests built by Alfa Romeo together with Carrozzeria Touring. The 2.6 litres six cylindre engine was supplied with 3 carburators for the convertible and provided 145 horsepower.
According to the last owner this specimen was delivered to the French Alfa Romeo importer and was exhibited in the 1963 Salon d'Automobiles in Paris. The car was then sold to the latest owner, who had his own Alfa Romeo dealership in Italy and always serviced the car himselves. The 2600 has never been subject to restoration, but has had a major service by an Alfa Romeo specialist recently along with a preventive corrosion treatment. A very nice and more importantly authentic 2600 Touring Spider!
