This Alfa Romeo 33 Sports Wagon can certainly be called unique. The car was delivered new in 1988 by the Alfa Romeo Dealer in Geleen Limburg, the Netherlands. Unique of course.
The last owner, an Alfa enthusiast par excellence, decided to sell this car due to lack of space.
We were pleased to be able to purchase it, because an Alfa Romeo 33 Sports Wagon is already rare, but with this special, demonstrable history, this makes it a fantastic car for the Alfa enthusiast who wants something special.
The car is technically in excellent condition and drives excellently, the 1.3 liter boxer engine naturally has that recognizable sound.
On the outside, the car has some traces of use, but nothing disturbing for a car from 1988.
The upholstery in the interior looks neat.
The Alfa Romeo 33 is a compact car from the Italian brand Alfa Romeo. The 33 succeeded the Alfasud in the segment of compact front-wheel drive mid-range cars in 1983. The name 33 refers to the Tipo 33 racing cars from Alfa Romeo in the sixties and seventies. In 1985, a station wagon of the 33 came onto the market under the name 33 Giardinetta and a 4WD system was offered. In 1987, the 33 received its first minor facelift (Series II) and a 1712 cc engine became available. The 4WD system disappeared again and the name of the station wagon changed to 33 Sportwagon.
