The paintwork was repainted in 2022 and has been well preserved since then with only a few signs of use. It would be good to have the paintwork polished again for a deeper shine. The 'Cromodora' star rims are made of aluminum and are still in good condition. The body has good fits of seams and is rust and damage free. The rubbers are also cool and the lights are fresh. All in all, an overall clean condition, especially considering the age of the car.INTERIORThe maroon leather burgundy interior is also a true work of art and is in very clean condition. The interior features beautiful counters and a wooden dashboard that is still in very nice condition. The car can be driven by the beautiful wooden 3-spoke steering wheel. The interior has normal user marks and is in overall clean condition. All counters are working. The leather upholstery is free of tears. For safety and comfort, the car offers heating and seat belts. The trunk is surprisingly spacious and is also in clean condition. Neatly covered under the trunk mat is the spare tire.TECHNICALThe Berlina has been carefully and passionately maintained, mostly by Alfa Romeo specialists. In 2022, the rear exhaust was replaced with stainless steel. Also, the front and middle parts of the exhaust have been renewed. Also, all 4 shock absorbers were replaced with ones from Koni. The drive shaft has also been overhauled and bearings and seals replaced. The engine compartment looks neat and dry. The 4 Toyo tires all around still have plenty of tread. The 4-cylinder is 1779 cc, produces 116 hp and has dual carburetors. The 5-speed manual transmission along with rear-wheel drive provides the ultimate driving experience. The car starts, drives and shifts well.ALGEMENTThe Alfa Romeo Berlina was the top model on the famous 105 platform, which also spawned the iconic Giulia. Under the hood was a powerful 1.8- or 2.0-liter engine. Thanks to its longer wheelbase, the Berlina offered generous comfort and space for the whole family, without compromising on driving pleasure or style. Furthermore, the Berlina had a more powerful engine and bodywork redesigned by Bertone with smoother lines and more elegant details. The Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina and 2000 Berlina were produced between 1968 and 1977. The name Berlina is the Italian term for sedan. Both models were equipped with the well-known Alfa Romeo Twin Cam four-cylinder engines. The 1750 Berlina (1.8 liter) appeared in 1968 and was replaced by the 2000 Berlina (2.0 liter) in 1971. The 1750 was presented in 1968 at Vietri sul Mare, along with the 1750 GT Veloce and Spider Veloce, and then shown at the Brussels Motor Show. In 1969 the model received minor improvements such as side turn signals, a wooden steering wheel and new pedals (the so-called second series).Alfa Romeo Berlina 1750 Series 2 1971- 1750 engine (most sought-after engine with 116 hp)- Finished in a stunning red color called “Maroon”- Overall good condition- Extensive maintenance carried out in the past year- New Koni shock absorbersEXTERIORThis beautiful Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina Series 2 began its life in 1971 and was imported to the Netherlands in 2024.
