It can hardly get more Italian than this Alfa Rome Spider Veloce.
A combination of technology and Italian flair, all cast in an extremely stylish body.
The chassis of the Giulleta Sprint was modified and the design gurus at Pinin-Farina built an extremely elegant Spider body around it. Right from the introduction, the Alfa Giulietta already provided breathtaking looks and driving experience. This only got better when the high-performance Veloce's were introduced to the market in 1956.
The unmistakable Alfa style was again coupled with the high-performance Veloce engines with a compression of no less than 9.1: 1 fed by double Weber carburetors. As a result, the performance was increased by at least another 15%, resulting in a top speed of no less than 185 km / h. This is sports car performance in a stylish Alfa Spider jacket.
Only 1,203 Guilietta Spiders were produced, which of course makes them the most sought-after Alfa Romeo.
This Spider continues the Alfa heritage and combines Italian design with the topless driving pleasure that only a Guilietta Spider Veloce can offer. The car was delivered new to a dealer in Trieste Italy in 1958 and found its way just across the border to Yugoslavia, where it experienced its first life. The car was brought back here for its second life and underwent a complete "body of" restoration. The chassis and bodywork were completely overhauled, and painted in the beautiful Alfa red color and equipped with a new black mohair soft-top. The interior has not been forgotten either and has been completely reupholstered with black leather. Mechanically everything was handled equally thoroughly in our workshop. The correct engine and gearbox were completely rebuilt and everything was finished to a high standard. Real craftsmanship was delivered here to achieve a better-than-new result. This is a car that you must come and taste, feel and drive. The complete picture to enjoy: Pinin Farina Elegance, extremely spicy Alfa Twin-Cam engine and a guaranteed welcome on every old-timer rally.
