This 1961 originally Swiss supplied Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce was exported to Greece in 1965. It surfaced again in 1986 and in 1989 an Alfa Romeo enthusiast acquired it, who kept the car until 2014. The next owner restored and mechanically perfected the Veloce between 2015 and 2017. The bodywork was taken back to its bare metal base and was then given the original ‘Gardenia White’ finish. The lovely bodywork has correctly fitted body panels and a fine paint finish. The sound underbody is completely rust-free. The cars’ fine interior trim has been well-kempt. During the restoration, a 1600 engine was fitted with the original twin Dellorto carburettors, a 5-speed gearbox, all-round Lockheed disc brakes and period Fergat Torino rims. Alfa Romeo has confirmed the authenticity of this Veloce. It also has a fully descriptive category D/3 Fiva Identity Card.
This lovely Swiss Veloce has a full and transparent history and various upgrades.
