Description

Acclaimed in every car test and international car show on television, the DB11. Aston Martin's top model was marketed as a GT, but to everyone's delight it also has the sharp edges and formidable performance of a Super sports car. In addition, Aston Martin sought support from Daimler Benz for the development of the DB11. With an annual production of around 6,000 cars, the classic car brand lacked the funds to meet the high demands of the Supercar market. AM also wanted to do away with the quality image once and for all, which often bothers British car manufacturers with the general public. Mercedes previously took a share in Aston Martin with the plan to expand this to a twenty percent share in the near future. Many important components in the DB11 therefore come from Stuttgart, although they are not immediately visible, but can be felt. The gearbox is also 'made in Germany' by the famous ZF in Friedrichshafen. Aston Martin bought a number of important chassis engineers away from Lotus, with success because the international motoring press says they do not know of a better sports car chassis than the DB11 turns out to have during intensive testing. The steering behavior is even better than a Ferrari F12 has to offer, in short, a DB11 should not be overlooked by the Supercar enthusiast. That will not happen quickly in practice, for example, look at the DB11 straight from the front, see that beautiful wide shell-shaped front and also those wide hips at the back, combined at the same time with the elegance of the special roofline. Especially the contrasting roofline on the copy offered here accentuates that beautiful stylish design. This virtually new DB11 is also one of 1,000 units that were personally quality tested by Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer, further underlining the commitment to quality. It is also the 12-cylinder version, guaranteed to be the best buy in terms of investment and of course the fastest and most comfortable variant. With only 7,700 km on the clock and a two-year AM warranty, a very interesting opportunity to enjoy this technical tour de force before the V12 is banned.
