This is the second outstanding DB7 I've had for sale in recent months. The first, a RHD Coupe, now resides happily in southern France, whilst this example, a stunning LHD DB7 i6 Volante has arrived via the Balearic Islands.

Delivered new to its first owner by Aston Martin Palm Beach in May 1997, it certainly led a pampered life as was shuttled by covered transporter between homes in the Carolina's and Florida with meagre use at either location but with all the service work being attended to whilst in Florida by the supplying dealer.

Remaining with its original keeper until 2015, the mileage amounted to just 5,200; in 2018 it was purchased from the second owner by an Englishman living in Majorca, mileage had marginally increased to 7,500. With minimal use since, the odometer currently stands at just 8,955.

As the photographs clearly demonstrate the car is in exceptional condition. The special order Grampian Green paint work is unmarked, whilst the truffle interior looks as new and pleasingly there is no sun damage to any of the veneers. Official AM service records are continuous and include one from HWM Aston Martin in Walton-on-Thames less than 1,400 miles ago....it's all quite extraordinary for 23 year old motor car.

It has been properly stored in a de-humidified facility over the winter months only to emerge now after the extended lock down and the sun has returned! Now UK registered, it's an ideal companion for those of you who enjoy extended continental jaunts and/or perhaps the perfect soft top to leave at your European residence.

The original DB7 is undeniably a beautiful car, more so than the later bolder V12, and it's fast becoming increasingly difficult just to find good earlier i6 Volantes and almost impossible now to replicate when in this near perfect condition, so quite a find.
