One of only 76 RHD DB7 GT, covered only 70800 miles.
The Aston Martin DB7 was a car which notably punctuated the two pre-millennial decades. As Aston Martin prepared to launch the DB9 however, it was necessary to bring the previous incarnation to a climactic full stop – and so the DB7 GT was created.
The GT was more than a few design tweaks. The engineering department surpassed themselves, moving the DB7 to another planet – becoming a true drivers GT.
So, what does any true driver look for in a GT? Well, who wouldn’t want a howling 5.9 litre V12, a slick 6-speed manual gearbox, with B-road eating suspension, but still comfortable enough to sit on the motorway all day long. Not forgetting tyres – tyres that you can lean on even on a leafy wet road. Top that off with brakes so sharp that you cut yourself on them. Well, now that’s a GT, and with only 76 RHD examples produced, there are few who understand how good the car really is, and should not be confused by any other six-pot DB7.
Don’t just take my word for it, many more qualified specialist and journalist than I, feel that the DB7 GT is the bargain collector car of this time! With serious value uplift expected in the medium term, making this car a worthy addition to any collection or just that one car you always promised yourself.
Our client purchased this car for his expected permanent return to the UK as he had works abroad for most of his business life, these plans have now changed as he takes on yet another senior roll overseas. This DB7 has been enjoyed and used as Ian Callum would have wanted and has been maintained to a very high standard all detailed in the accompanying history file. Our workshop has just completed a full service including rear brake pads and new front tyres. Our vendor has decided it is time to pass the car to a new custodian, and hopes that you will enjoy GT miles as much as he has.
