Julien's Perspective
SOME THOUGHTS ON THIS MODEL

Aston Martin significantly raised the bar with DB9, in fact, such was the advance from the out going DB7, they even skipped a complete moniker.

Its all new platform incorporating its 'VH' (vertical/horizontal) architecture meant that it weighed-in 25% less than that of the DB7 but also incredibly, transformed the rigidity, handling and performance, courtesy of the 50/50 weight distribution between the all alloy V12 and the rear mounted gearbox.

The model's instant popularity gave Aston Martin much needed revenue and arguably for the first time a successful and sustainable second hand market - today you will find a host of cars available but it is imperative that your search is driven by both specification, condition and a most importantly, a good service history aligned to the right specialists or main dealers.

This car ticks all the boxes and a few more besides.....there's the ultra low miles, in fact, just a smidgeon over 23,000 miles, plus it has the rarely available 6 speed manual gearbox, so much more driver focused than flappy-paddles! I understand there were just 358 manual built, so rare as 'hens teeth'!

The midnight blue paintwork is excellent order, being virtually unblemished courtesy of a PPF film on the bonnet. Likewise its cream truffle leather interior and walnut facia's, are again all like new, with no obvious wear nor evident UV damage.

It benefits from the numerous upgrades made for the 2007 model year and significantly, there is a complete Aston Martin Sevenoaks service from day one (15 dealer stamps), including one from 22nd June this year, not forgetting a brand new MOT too....Sevenoaks also supplied it too.

Rarely available as a 6 speed manual, this 3 former keeper only car must be amongst the best available. Along with all books, manuals & keys, there is also a bespoke Aston Martin branded car cover, the correct Citek charger and its original factory umbrella.
