Description

The Aston Martin DBS is één bonk of British distinguished brutality. The car more than lives up to its rugged looks thanks to a 5.4-liter V8 that produces 320 horsepower. The engine is fuel-injected and makes every drive in the Aston Martin DBS unforgettable. This example has belonged to the same owner for the past 13 years and has been well maintained at the time. The car has always been neatly stored indoors and is therefore in beautiful condition. Another thing that is séér worth mentioning is the fact that this is a car with the beloved manual transmission. In total, only 289 examples of the DBS were made of which only 32 had the steering wheel on the left side. The exterior is therefore in beautiful and original condition. The sheet metal is completely original and fits neatly throughout. The front is dominated by the huge front spoiler and the four headlights. The hood is beautifully flat and did not need an additional intake as the DBS was fuel injected. The car sits on the original wheels that are also in very good condition and have good tires in the correct sizes. The rear stands out because of the beautifully integrated ducktail spoiler and the bumper that incorporates the exhausts. The paint has already been repainted once for cosmetic reasons and still looks neat with only some light signs of use.

The interior is very original and upholstered with black leather on the seats and black carpets. When opening the door, you immediately notice that this is a manual transmission car. The wooden gear lever sticks out proudly from the dashboard. The dashboard and instrumentation are beautifully designed and include housing an array of different instruments and controls that all function as they should. Although the DBS was the most rugged of all Aston Martin V8 models, the car does have air conditioning and wonderfully comfortable handling. The technology has recently received very extensive maintenance. Consequently, the engine runs very well. The transmission shifts precisely. Furthermore, it is noticeable that the gear ratios are tuned for sporty driving but also for driving long distances. Indeed, the first gears are quite short but the last gear is a échte overdrive gear to make driving long distances not a tiring affair. The 5.4 liter V8 has more than enough torque to easily do its job even at low speeds. The suspension is firmly sprung but still very comfortable and communicates well to the driver what the wheels are doing. The brakes are more than powerful enough to quickly shake off the speed gained as well and are easy to dose. The car comes with some general documentation and is ready for many miles of unlimited Aston Martin DBS driving pleasure. In short, a beautiful and especially very rare Aston Martin DBS V8 with the steering wheel on the left side and in Vantage specification.
