The Aston Martin V8 Vantage was introduced in 1977 as the high-performance variant of the V8 version. The Vantage featured a 5.3-liter V8 with higher power output, a sportier suspension and a sportier design. A few years later, the convertible version of the V8 Vantage was marketed under the name V8 Vantage Volante. In 1993, another V8 Vantage version entered the market, this time as a stand-alone model and based on the Virage. It too featured a 5.3 liter V8 but this one came to higher performance. A convertible of this was also designed and re-launched as the V8 Vantage Volante. In 2005, a completely new V8 Vantage was introduced that was now inspired by the DB9. The car was more compact and received the new 4.3-liter V8 under the hood. The convertible version became available from March 2007 and was called the V8 Vantage Roadster. The 4.3 liter V8 launched the rear-wheel drive Vantage Roadster to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and could reach a top of 280 km/h. This model remained on the market until 2018 when it was succeeded by the V8 Vantage Roadster with the 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8.In all these years, the V8 Vantage has been synonymous with luxury combined with formidable performance. The car was equipped with all modern developments while maintaining the elegance, style and recognizability of the Aston Martin brand. The example at Classic Park is an original Dutch example with a correct low mileage of only 54,324 kilometers. The last service was given in October 2023. The car has an automatic dark blue hood and a windstopper. The car has a cognac leather interior and is in very good condition.
