Vehicle history:

This Austin-Healey 100/4 was delivered from a Paris showroom to a pilot in London, who shortly thereafter sold it to his friend Ralph Zanette in California. Zanette drove the roadster in private races, for which the car received the front disc brakes from the 100 S sports model. The next owner, Gerald Edie, tuned the car's output from 90 to 100 horsepower and raced the car in about 60 races. These races included; Sacramento, Berkeley, Georgetown Divide, Sears Pint, Lodi and Stockton to name a few. The last of these races was held at Laguna Seca in May 1970. As of 1970, the Healey was stored by Edie. Thanks to the fabulous storage conditions no rust spots can be
found. 34 years later, the current owners acquired this "Matching Numbers" example and brought it back to the track, still equipped with the correct four-speed transmission and overdrive. It was important to them not to destroy the patina, so only the body was washed and the transmission and engine were disassembled and reassembled. The last race of the car took place in 2008 together with Gerald Edie at the Nürburgring. Interestingly, the entire mileage of the car was driven on the race track. The car features a limited slip differential which is very rare today. Numerous trophies, race plaques, race records and books prove the racing history and are included with the purchase of this unique race car.
