Description

Exterior: The name of this colour combination is Sand Over Sable and it suits the Bentley S2 very well. Paintwork is good and the the chrome is very good. The bumpers have been rechromed recently and the rest is original. Rolling on new tyres with a thin white stripe. The Bentley S2 was the only model with the V8 engine, but still with single headlights. This car had some body work done to it a few years ago and at that time the rocker panels and the rear fenders and sections behind were replaced by professional panel shop. It has later been painted with primer and rust protected underneath.
Interior: Wonderful original brown leather in very good condition. You can always buy new leather, but to me an old Bentley just would not be the same if it did not have a little bit of patina. Also the carpets and the wood are very nice in this car. There were seatbelts fitted before and I still have them if somebody wants to put them back. Also, the trunk area is very original and intact in this car.
Engine: Starts easily and sounds very good. Engine bay could use a good clean and detailing, but all functions are very good. Just had an oil service and new plugs. Rebuilt carburettors and the complete brake system has just been revised with new shoes, hoses, rebuilt wheel cylinders and master cylinder. Gearbox changes perfectly, servo and rear axle is normal.
History: Came from U.K. in 1976 and was imported by at that time the famous Silver Hill. It was later bought by another man up north in Sweden and then I bought the car in 2019. It was always well cared for and never driven much. It is believed to be the original miles on the counter. Indicating 43,000 miles or 69,000km. The odometer reading can be verified back to when the car came to Sweden. It comes with spare, jack and the original tools. Handbook and a binder with collected receipts of service work.
