Description

The 1985 BMW 635 M CSI belongs to the E24 generation of the 6 Series, introduced in 1976 as a luxury grand tourer with a sporty focus. The M635CSi was developed by BMW Motorsport to be the most powerful and performance-oriented version in the lineup. Its long front end, low roofline, and technical foundation make the BMW 635 M CSI instantly recognizable within BMW’s 1980s lineup.

Produced between 1984 and 1989, a total of 5,855 units of the M635CSi were made. The peak production year was 1985, with 1,763 units. This model is considered a rare variant within the E24 family. BMW positioned the M635CSi as a model that bridged the gap between a comfortable touring car and a sporty coupe, making it highly sought after in today’s classic BMW collector’s market.

The 1985 BMW 635 M CSI features three-piece BBS RS007 wheels, a hallmark of high-quality German sports cars from the 1980s and 1990s. The car is in good, roadworthy condition and comes with additional documentation, which adds to its value and historical significance.

As an M variant within the E24 series, the 635 M CSI emphasizes a more technical and sporty approach compared to the standard 6 Series, which is known for its touring comfort. This makes the model significant both historically and in the market for classic German coupes.

This example is equipped with three-piece BBS RS007 wheels, is in neat, roadworthy condition, and includes additional documentation. To better assess the lot, attending the viewing day is recommended.
