BMW 700 LS Luxus – 1965 – Swedish delivered – Fully restored
A rare opportunity to acquire a BMW 700 LS Luxus, one of the most significant models in BMW history. Produced between 1959 and 1965, the 700 combined compact dimensions with innovative engineering and elegant design by Giovanni Michelotti. It was BMW’s first car with a self-supporting body and played a crucial role in saving the brand during the early 1960s.
This particular example was sold new in Sweden in 1965 and remained with its first owner until 2015. Afterward, it underwent a comprehensive restoration by CC Motors in Eskilstuna, restoring it to its original specifications:
- New upholstery sewn in the correct original style
- Repainted in its original light grey color
- Engine, gearbox, and clutch fully rebuilt
- Complete technical overhaul
The car is powered by a two-cylinder air-cooled boxer engine of 697 cc producing 33 hp, derived from the BMW R67 motorcycle. Despite its modest size, the 700 LS can reach 120 km/h and is remarkably fun to drive.
Currently, the car is in excellent condition, fully roadworthy, and both tax- and inspection-exempt due to its age. It comes with extensive documentation, including invoices, registration papers, and historic details.
An unusual and highly collectible classic BMW, restored in original condition and ready to enjoy—a true piece of BMW heritage.
We assist with worldwide export and transport, ensuring a smooth and worry-free process.
