The engine block was inspected and honed for new piston rings, with all gaskets and seals replaced using OEM quality parts. New cylinder head bolts, main bearing bolts, and upgraded ARP rod bolts have been installed. Motorsport-coated main and rod bearings have been fitted, and the crankshaft was polished with bearing clearances checked during assembly. The oil pump was rebuilt with a VAC upgrade kit, and the water pump replaced with a genuine unit.
