The Divo is BUGATTI’s first coach built hyper sports car of the 21st century. The limited and extremely high-performance hyper sports car is an absolute must-have for any BUGATTI enthusiast’s hyper sports car collection. With its futuristic and ferocious design and its completely different personality and driving performance, BUGATTI has created a true masterpiece of automotive craftsmanship that successfully revives BUGATTI’s long-standing coachbuilding tradition.
By slimming down the BUGATTI signature line, the body has a visual horizontal division, emphasized by a special color scheme. The upper portion is fluid and muscular, while the lower section is technical and angular, reinforcing the car’s forceful appearance. The wedge-shaped profile and rising beltline push the cockpit forward, lending the DIVO an extremely dynamic profile, even at a standstill.
An entirely new architecture was developed for the front of the DIVO. The lightweight LED headlights are ultra-compact, just 35mm tall. Their vertical positioning allows for additional air intakes to cool the brakes. Daytime running lights on the outer edge of the car give the DIVO a sense of greater width and strength.
An homage to the iconic BUGATTI Type 57SC Atlantic, the DIVO’s central fin also plays a functional role, preventing air from causing turbulence at the rear. The NACA air intake on the roof creates an optical connection with the air outlet in the bonnet and helps guide air towards the non-retractable rear wing. Measuring 183cm wide, the hydraulically actuated rear wing is 23% wider than the CHIRON. This larger surface increases the performance of the air brake.
The rear of the DIVO is composed for maximum impact. Partly 3D-printed, the rear grill is characterized by a stunning tail light system made from lightweight fins of varying sizes. At the outer edge, the fins become wider, creating a more intense light and emphasizing the DIVO’s powerfully wide body.
Inside, DIVO Racing Blue provides a stark optical split, ensuring the asymmetric color layout focuses on the driver. The newly designed seats offer greater lateral support with the lightweight central console giving greater comfort thanks to larger armrests and calf supports. Alcantara partly covers the steering wheel, which also has larger shift paddles on each side.
Bugatti Divo specifications: With a fuel consumption of 22.5 litres/100km - 13 mpg UK - 10 mpg US (Average), 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 2.4 seconds, a maximum top speed of 236 mph (380 km/h), a curb weight of 4321 lbs (1960 kgs), the Divo has a turbocharged W 16 cylinder engine, Petrol motor, with the engine code Bugatti.
This engine produces a maximum power of 1500 PS (1480 bhp - 1103 kW) at 6700 rpm and a maximum torque of 1600 Nm (1180 lb.ft) at 2000-6000 rpm. The power is transmitted to the road by the all wheel drive (AWD) with a 7 speed Dualclutch gearbox.
On the topic of chassis details responsible for road holding, handling behavior and ride comfort, the Divo Stock tire sizes are 285 / 30 on 20 inch rims at the front, and 355 / 25 on 21 inch rims at the rear. For stopping power, the Divo braking system includes Vented Discs at the front and Vented Discs at the rear.
