Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to present this beautiful blue 1967 Buick Skylark for sale. The Buick Skylark was first introduced in 1953 to celebrate GM's 50th anniversary. Making its way in and out of the company for years to come, it wasn't until 1964 when it became a standalone model once again. This particular beauty has been well taken care of, and has had many upgrades along the way.

This Skylark is equipped with the less common and much more potent 340-4 configuration (compared to the 300 CID/2BBL standard V8). The rebuilt 340 CID V8 is topped with a 4BBL carb and backed by a smooth-shifting 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, making this a great cruiser. Its owner recently completed a total front end rebuild and threw in some extras during the process. He added a set of MagnaFlow mufflers, an Edelbrock electric fuel pump, installed a new water pump, thermostat, and hoses, and replaced all the drive belts. A set of 2-inch drop spindles were installed, as well as new upper and lower control arms. The brake system was converted to a power setup, and the front drums were swapped out for disc brakes, including slotted/drilled rotors. The rear brake cylinders and shoes were also replaced, and a larger UMI front swaybar was also installed, as well as KYB gas shocks at all 4 corners. The original 14-inch steel wheels were replaced with a new set of 17-inch aluminum wheels, styled to look like the OEM wheels, and low-profile performance radials were added for better handling and appearance. A complete paint correction was also done, giving this car a very classy look indeed.

Inside, the blue cloth interior exudes a sense of nostalgia, transporting you back to the simpler times of the 60s. Drivers will appreciate the addition of the 3-gauge cluster below the dash, so they no longer need to rely on the "uh oh, it's too late" warnings provided by the original dash warning lights. The AM radio adds to the vintage vibe, allowing you to tune into your favorite stations as you cruise down memory lane (but you'll need to install an antenna). The original A/C is intact, and it blows cool (not cold), so all you may want to do is convert it to an R134a system for complete year-round comfort.

This 1967 Buick Skylark is more than just a car; it's a piece of American history. It's a testament to a time when cars were not just a mode of transportation but a symbol of style, personality, and freedom. Don't miss the chance to own this classic beauty.
