Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this 1937 Chrysler Airflow. Debuting for 1934 the Chrysler Airflow was a revolutionary design. In a world where most cars were shaped like boxes with upright grilles the Chrysler took a wholly new approach with the Airflow utilizing wind tunnel testing. The result was a body that allowed air to flow around it in a controlled manner making for a quieter cabin and far less drag at speed. This 1937 example is looking quite handsome in it's dark red paint contrasting with dark gray fenders. As you walk around the vehicle you'll notice nice details like the color keyed headlight bezels, venting windshield and rear fender skirts. Take a seat inside and you're greeted by upgraded pillow top leather seats front and rear. Under the hood is a 350 cubic inch V8 and is paired with a 700R4 automatic transmission. According to the owner this Airflow is utilizing a Camaro front and rear end for superior handling. If you're looking for an innovative pre-war car with some extra muscle this is the one you want to own! Options include spare tire, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, seat belts, hub caps and radial tires.
