Description

At the Paris Motor Show of October 1928, Citroën presents the C series. This date is a milestone in Citroën's history, because in addition to the new C4 (the successor to the B14) with a displacement of 1628 cc, an entirely new top-of-the-line model with a six-cylinder engine is also introduced: the C6, with a displacement of 2442 cc. With this, the car reached a top speed of 105 km/h. Both models benefited from all the improvements of the previous model, including the all-steel body, and continued to achieve excellent sales until they were withdrawn from production in September 1932. In 1931, the C Series range consists of 47 different versions. On April 1, 1932, the C Series undergoes a revolutionary innovation that greatly enhances comfort: the floating engine. The C4 will long enjoy the reputation of being a particularly robust and versatile car, even in the fifties of the twentieth century many of them were still driving around. This Citroen is a real eye-catcher and for its age still in excellent condition. Good running and driving and in pickup version a rarity.
