The Daf 33, introduced in 1967, was a compact car known for its innovative variomatic transmission and efficient design. This model was manufactured by the Dutch car manufacturer Daf, which became a major player in the European car market in the 1960s. The Daf 33 was a successor to the Daf 30 and offered improved performance and comfort. The car was particularly popular for its simplicity and user-friendliness, which contributed to its appeal to a wide audience.
The current owner has owned the Daf 33 since 1974 and thoroughly restored the car from 2019 to 2022. During this restoration, the bodywork was completely taken care of and various technical components were replaced or overhauled. For example, the engine was fitted with a new starter motor, a revised carburetor and a new oil pump. The variomatic transmission and engine compartment were also completely cleaned and repainted in the correct color. The new fusion balls and alignment of the car add to the overall driving experience of the Daf 33.
The interior of the Daf 33 is equipped with luxury upholstery, with the seats and rear seat in pristine condition. The brakes have been updated with new brake linings and brake cylinders, adding to safety and reliability. The rims have been thoroughly blasted and repainted, adding to the visual appeal of the car. A completely new exhaust was also recently installed. To get a good idea of the lot, we recommend coming to the viewing day.
