Description

The Daimler SP250, an English car made for the American market with a HEMI V8 engine. This Blue on red Daimler is a beautiful example. Absolutely a lot of fun to drive and more than a show off, waw!

Exterior:

These daimlers have a fiberglass body, and this one was well maintained after the restoration. Next to a small tear on the trunk, the paint is in very good condition and looking very shiny. The chrome is also looking very nice. Car comes with a brand new, never used soft top, wire wheels and a tonneau cover.

Interior:

The interior is brand new and looks amazing. Recently added new carpets. All gauges work.

Mechanics:

The driving experience in a lightweight "English" car like this, with a 2.5L Hemi V8 is not what you expect, its better. A lot of torque but also very calm when you want it to be.

History:

The Daimler SP250 is a sports car built by the Daimler Company, a British manufacturer in Coventry, from 1959 to 1964. It was the last car to be launched by Daimler before its parent company, the Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA), sold it to Jaguar Cars in 1960. Jaguar bought Daimler in 1960, and were immediately concerned about the chassis flex (which made the doors open up while driving sometimes). They brought out the "B-spec" version with extra outriggers on the chassis and a strengthening hoop between the A posts.[11] Also, other detail improvements included an adjustable steering column.
