Description

See for information in English down belowDatsun 260 Z Coupé - Original Dutch delivered- Original registration certificate present- Original wheels and seats present- Fully restored- 2.565 cc 6-cylinder engine - Sper differential- 5-speed gearbox- Immediately suitable for rally driving- Terratrip Classic 202 Plus V4- Hella spotlights- Roll cage- Bucket seats- Pioneer audio systemWith the Z series, Datsun brought an iconic car to the market. A fast and agile car with a delightful 6-cylinder engine, but also a comfortable GT. Not surprisingly, the example we offer has been improved and made suitable for rallying and/or long drives. This car is a real mile-eater. There is a Terratrip Classic 202 Plus V4, bucket seats, roll cage, Hella headlights and a Pioneer audio system installed. In addition, the car features a limited slip differential. The sporty alloy 'John Brown Wheels' 15-inch rims are fitted with winter tires, making the car suitable for the Winter Trail Rally, for example. The car also comes with the original rims and seats, so it can also be restored to its original condition. There are 5 original 14-inch rims with tires present, 4 of which are in top condition. The original seats are also in good condition. What makes this car rather special is that it was originally delivered to the Netherlands in 1978. In its early days, the car has been owned by the same owner for no less than 32 years! And it shows: the Datsun is both optically and technically in very good condition. The chassis is rust free and the car was recently fully restored. As a result, even the original color 'Silver Metallic' is in very good condition. Driving the car is a joy: the original 5-speed manual transmission is fully synchronized and 5th gear is an overdrive. Combined with the raw, tough engine sound, the car not only sounds sporty: its performance is impressive by 70s standards. 100 km/h is reached in about 10.4 seconds and the top speed is about 200 km/h. The original registration certificate issued on June 27, 1978 is still present. The car was delivered new by 'Auto Jansma BV' in Heerenveen: official Mercedes-Benz and Datsun Dealer. An old advertisement from this dealer is still present. Original stickers can still be seen under the hood. The last owner is also still from the north of the Netherlands. General information about the Datsun 260ZIn 1969, the Datsun 240Z (also known as 'Fairlady') was introduced. With specifications such as a 6-cylinder engine with overhead camshafts and 4-wheel independent suspension, the car had similarities to much more expensive sports cars such as the Jaguar E-Type and BMW 2800 CS, but at the price of cars such as Alfa Romeo Spider, MG B and Opel GT (all of which were equipped with a 4-cylinder engine. Consequently, the Z series was a great success worldwide. In 1974, the 240Z was succeeded by the more powerful 260Z, which, thanks to an enlarged displacement, had 162 hp instead of 150 hp. In 1978, the last Z series rolled off the production line. The car is still considered a good driving GT with sporty and beautiful looks, as well as good handling. Consequently, the model has become increasingly popular.Datsun 260 Z Coupé - Original Dutch delivered- Original registration certificate available- Original wheels and seats available- Fully restored- 2,565 cc 6-cylinder engine - 5-speed gearbox- Directly suitable for rally-riding- Terratrip Classic 202 Plus V4- Hella spotlights- Rollcage- Bucket seats- Pioneer audio systemWith the Z series, Datsun brought an iconic car to the market.
