Redline Restorations is pleased to offer this freshly restored 1932 DeSoto Custom SC. The DeSoto brand launched in 1929, and was aimed at customers looking for a middle tier priced vehicle that had high value. DeSoto enjoyed great success up until 1960. In 1932, DeSoto introduced the SC series, which was a wild hit with the American public, with over 81,000 units sold the first year. Of the 81,000 SC series produced, less than 845 Custom SC convertible models during this year, making it a rare collectors vehicle that you seldom see. The vehicle features a 218ci L-Head inline 6-cylinder engine producing 75 horsepower, mated to a 3-speed selective shift constant mesh transmission. The body & frame were completely restored approximately five years ago. The vehicle is finished in a blue/dark blue two-tone color, with grey pin stripes and wheels. The interior features blue upholstery, with a blue cloth top and rumble seat.
