No compromise. Live like you drive.
As Nationalist car enthusiasts, we Dutch can be quite proud; DAF, Spyker and Donkervoort all came from orange. Donkervoort, despite a total production of about 40 units a year, has survived. Joop Donkervoort, besides his active lobbying in the government where according to him (HULDE) the speed on motorways could best go to 200 km/h, was also very busy with his first concept in 1978.
The Donkervoort S8, based on a Lotus 7. Like Porsche, Donkervoort has something to be very proud of. Almost all the cars produced (some 1,500 in total) are still driving around. To maintain this, Joop created a Certificate of Authenticity. Technical, optical and originality are tested in this. If this is as it should be, you get the certificate.
Ours? With certificate, of course! A totally original Donkervoort D8 from the second Dutch owner. ‘Dutch racing green’ with yellow stripe. Besides its exciting looks, also quite handy to avoid being overlooked according to the owner. Equipped with the very potent Ford ‘Zetec’ engine originating from racing, with only 57 thousand kilometres on the clock. Bring your narrow K-shoes and we’ll see you soon!
