FERRARI 275 GTS CHASSIS
Built in 1966
Only 34000 Miles original!
• Equipped with rare and desirable factory hard top
• Matching numbers.
• Documented with build sheets and original purchase paperwork
• Ferrari Classic Certification
• Insanely documented car. A late production example, number 193 of 200.
• Chassis went to Pininfarina in 1965 for the Spider body. It seems to be one of the few copies that was factory-equipped with the hardtop.
• Incredible amount of documentation. Also from the first owner who owned the car for twenty years. The car has originally driven 35,000 miles.
• Massini report
• Insanely restored by the highly respected firm of Paul Russell & Company.
• Original dealer order available: car was delivered new to Auto-Becker, direct delivery to Mortimer Rosenbaum, a Ferrari enthusiast from San Diego, California. In correspondence to the second owner, he explains that he owned the car for twenty years and treated it with care. He wanted to keep the car as original as possible, except for the brakes, which he had improved.
• The mileage is only increasing very moderately, in 1992 the car had only driven 30,670 miles.
• Insanely maintained throughout his life. In 1997 major restoration and overhaul by Paul Russell & Co. The car was completely addressed, with new beautiful black leather and the beautiful factory color Azzuro Metallizato for the exterior.
• After the extreme restoration, the car has only driven a few thousand miles.
• Comes with the original build sheets, the original purchase receipt, correspondence between owners, extremely, but really extremely much documentation and invoices.
