Vehicle history:

This Ferrari was manufactured in October 1970 and delivered new to Canada through the official importer George Woolley. According to the original warranty card in the documentation, it was originally delivered to a man named Jean Pierre Forgel, who lived just outside Montreal. The Daytona, which was originally painted in Grigio Ferro (106-E-8), still features its original leather interior. This Rosso (VM 893) leather interior features black inserts. In 1990, the Quebec-based owner Laurent LeMairre listed chassis 13827 for sale in Volume 15 of the “Ferrari Market Letter.” Archived historical records indicate that the Ferrari was imported into Switzerland in January 1991.
In 1997, chassis 13827 was purchased by Mr. Richoz, who immediately began with a series of repairs. Invoices from November of that year totaling over 16,804 CHF document the complete disassembly of the engine for cleaning, the removal and replacement of a damaged piston, and its subsequent reassembly. In 2005, bodywork included repairs to both rear fenders as well as a repaint of the trunk and rear bumper. Five years ago, a German collector purchased the Daytona and drove it approximately 5,000 kilometers in good weather. The Ferrari still has its original engine. The transmission was replaced years ago. The 1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona comes with the original owner’s manual, the original warranty card, and a tool roll.
