Description

Perhaps the most underrated classic V12 Ferrari is the 365GTC/4. Often referred to somewhat disrespectfully in Italian as 'Gobbone', which means something like hunchback, not really a complimentary word for the graceful and at the same time modest lines of this GT. Maybe call it the lack of 'wow factor' that has made the 365GTC/4 long overlooked by collectors, although largely based on the famous 365 Daytona you still pay less than half for it. But the 365GTC/4 has been discovered, good things come slowly...enthusiasts/collectors who increasingly realize that the era of the V12 will soon end are now enthusiastically buying a 'Gobbone'. With that beautiful 'Colombo' (name of the engineer who designed it) engine, largely identical to that of the Daytona, a beauty that you only really see after looking a little longer and the limited production of only 524 pieces, the 365GTC/ 4 now also star status. Rightly so. A 365 GTC/4 is also a car that is easy to use, power steering, a large trunk, serious space in the back, air conditioning and a 51/49 weight distribution make it a fantastic driving GT. No fewer than 48 colors were available, surprisingly less than ten percent were sold in red. The Blu Dino Metallizzato on this 365 perhaps suits the car best in combination with the beige leather. Stylish Mediterranean, sporty accentuated with the Rudge knock-off magnesium rims. This example comes from an enthusiast who saw the potential of Ferrari V12s early on. He rarely drove it, owning it gave him enough satisfaction. He kept the car running well, but had to be fitted with a new exhaust, for example. The solid basis and attractive pricing mean that this GTC/4 has rightly been included in our collection, the bodywork has remained rust-free and the car drives excellently. The car was painted once purely for cosmetic reasons. Anyone who has studied the current value of a 365GTC/4 and does not want to win a competition will see that this is an excellent opportunity to acquire a 'growth brilliant'. This new car, delivered in Düsseldorf, comes with the complete owner's history as well as some maintenance invoices.
