In 1972 the Ritmo's brief was to succeed the Fiat 128 with the same revolutionary look as the latter had had in 1969.
It was presented at the Turin Motor Show in April 1978 and a second, more up-market version was soon released in 1979.
Later came the 3-door sports versions: the Ritmo Sport 105 TC (1,600 cm3 and 105 bhp), the Ritmo Abarth 125 TC with two overhead camshafts and the 130 TC, like our example. The Ritmo was replaced by the Ritmo 2 at the end of 1982.
Our car comes from the Château de Savigny collection. It has been immobilised for many years and is sold as a non-running car. It is complete and sold with a set of 4 rims.
