The example offered here is in a very nice restored and maintained condition. This Fiat was delivered new in California and came to Germany in 2000. Complete with maintenance history, bills etc. Equipped with the beautiful 2 liter injection engine with the smooth shifting 5 speed gearbox. As a special feature, the car has a new beautiful luxury convertible roof and the seats are upholstered with beige upholstery. Authorized in Germany since 2000, last owner owned the car for 20 years. The Fiat 124 Sport Spider was introduced in 1966 and modified in the spring of 1969 and summer of 1972. The main change concerned the new, more powerful and reliable generation of engines. From September 1972, Sport Spiders with 1756 cm³ engine (94 kW) and the addition Abarth were also built. The Fiat 124 Sport Spider was introduced in 1966 with a 1.4-liter engine that produced 90 hp (66 kW). By 1979, with the introduction of new 1.6-liter engines, engine power had increased to 110 hp (81 kW). From 1972, the Sport Spider was also offered with a 1.8-liter engine that produced 114 hp (84 kW) with a four-speed transmission and 118 hp (87 kW) with a five-speed transmission. Cars produced from the beginning of 1978 had a 2.0-liter engine and were sold as Fiat Spider 2000 with up to 100 hp (74 kW).
