History of the Fiat 1500
In 1961, the Fiat 1500 was presented at an "Italia" exhibition in Turin. By then, Fiat had tested several prototypes over a total of more than 1.5 million kilometers since 1957. The specification from Fiat to develop a family-friendly, sporty but also comfortable mid-range automobile was implemented excellently with the 1500. In addition to the sedan, Fiat also developed the "Familiare" station wagon and from 1964 the wheelbase was also increased by 8 cm. In addition, the engine power of the 4-cylinder in-line engine increased to 80 hp. The Fiat impressed in comparison to the competition with its rich standard equipment. The ADAC Motorwelt attested it “Obviously solidity and impeccable workmanship in the interior make you forget that this car is also a product of mass production. Everything looks objective, dignified, clean and durable.”
Our Fiat 1500 Familiare
A few years ago we had a Fiat 1500 limousine on offer, with which we won the silver bear at a classic car fair in Berlin. Now we offer a much rarer vehicle, the Fiat 1500 Familiare! The perfect vehicle for a stylish family holiday. It comes from Italy and was only carried out there by two owners until 2020. 54 years old and only 2 owners, really a rarity. The condition is magnificent. the color combination very elegant. Fiat has also implemented the love for extraordinary fascinating details in this vehicle. For us, a piece of automotive heritage in its purest form. Rare, economical, comfortable, quite sporty and easy to repair and definitely worth preserving. Our impression is that the vehicle has been accident-free throughout its life and is in largely delightful original condition. An excellent opportunity to acquire such an untinkered family vehicle.
