Fiat saw the success of the 500 F and decided to make some changes to make it more luxurious, so in August 1968 the 500 L was born.
On the outside in addition to tubular bumper reinforcements , the changes include windshield wipers , less domed wheel cups , chrome frames on the windshield , inside standard reclining seats with a new striped design , carpeted floor coverings , new dashboard with fuel gauge .
