The SEAT 600 D was made in Spain under licence from Fiat. From 1958 till 1975 the SEAT 600 was made in Spain. A total of 783,745 examples rolled off the assembly line. Just like its Italian equivalent it had a 600cc engine with an output of 22hp. This turned out not to be enough, because in 1960 the engine was enlarged to 750cc and 32 hp, after which the car became the SEAT 600D. This car still retained the typical front closing doors. It has been said that the SEAT 600D made Spain mobile; 336,000 of them were produced and was particularly robust and therefore loved.
