The Fiat Dino is a sports coupé presented by Fiat in 1966 to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the company's founder, Giovanni Agnelli. It replaced the Fiat 2300 Coupé and was built in 2 variants, as a Coupé designed by Bertone and as a Spider designed by Pininfarina. The engines developed by Ferrari were also used, for example, in the Dino 246 GT and 246 GTS and the Lancia Stratos. Furthermore, in addition to an excellent sporty chassis, a 5-speed gearbox from ZF and a limited-slip differential are standard. It is not unusual for Fiat that the wheelbase in the Coupé is significantly longer than in the Spider. The interior design identifies it as a spacious and comfortable touring coupe. This dino offers comfort and safety. Despite good systems, respectable test results and really sporty talents, only 2398 buyers (Dino 2400 Coupé) were found in five years of production. Probably not enough for a company like Fiat, which is why production was stopped again in 1972 without presenting a successor. Incomprehensible for a car that was accepted into the elite club of 200 km/h cars in 1970.
This vehicle was imported from Sweden by Scuderia Sportiva Colonia and is currently being completely restored in its original color combination metallic (Nocciola) with beige velor interior. This beautiful coupe is in final assembly. Extensive photo documentation is currently being created.
