Description

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at CarFest 2026 on Saturday the 29th of August and Sunday the 30th of August at The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN.

The Fiat Ritmo 130 TC Abarth was one of the more understated contenders of the hot hatch era. Developed from Fiat’s compact and lightweight Ritmo platform and enhanced by Abarth, the 130 TC is now regarded as a distinctive performance hatch from its period.

First registered in 1985, the vehicle was imported from Sicily by its current owner in 2024. It has since undergone a full cosmetic restoration, been UK registered, and joined the vendor’s private collection, where it has seen limited recent use.

Powered by Fiat’s 1,995cc four-cylinder engine, the 130 TC’s engine was a key part of its appeal and helped set it apart from many of its contemporary hot hatch rivals.

The car has been stripped and repainted in its original color of Grigio Alluminio, featuring hand-painted pinstripe decals. It sits on diamond-cut alloys.

The interior has been recently refurbished with HL Black Nappa leather seating, along with a freshly trimmed steering wheel and parcel shelf.

At the time of cataloguing, the odometer indicated 83,698 km (52,007 miles). We understand the car has recently been fully serviced.

It is supplied with a photographic history of the restoration, the original Fiat workshop manual, and invoices.

An engaging and less frequently seen entrant from the golden age of hot hatches, this restored Ritmo 130 TC Abarth offers the chance to acquire a characterful Italian performance hatch with period pace and strong visual presence.
