Description

Price on request --- A 1950 Ford Custom in fully restored condition which originally served as a Sheriff police car in California.

Exterior:

This Custom has been finished in its famous black and white police highway patrol colors, which still present very nice as the car has gone through a full restoration. Originally from the factory for these cop cars, the chrome bumpers in front have been changed a little to be able to fit the red light (Which is in working order) On top is the siren together with 2 more red lights that also work.

Interior:

The interior is in very good condition with the leather seats looking new with no signs of any tears, rips or stains. Still inside is a communication system together with certain extra buttons on the dashboard to have the police sirens/lights work. And yes, you can have the truncheon that comes with the car.

Mechanics:

Powered by a Flathead V8 this Highway patrol car runs really good and fast, as a cop car should be. All brakes have been checked and the engine runs very smoothly.

History:

This Ford Custom from 1950 came originally out of the factory as a California Sheriff car. Why was it changed? Former drag racing legend John Force bought the car and wanted it completely restored. During this process he decided he was going to change it to a highway patrol car, because he was sponsored by "AAA" Insurance, the official sponsors of the California Highway Patrol.
