1932 Ford Flatbed 1.5 Ton Model B Pickup Truck . Completely Restored . No expense spared . Driven only 50 miles since .
This 1932 Ford truck looks great clad in Washington Blue, black fenders and a restored bed . Of course, 1932 was the very first year of production for the Ford flathead V8 -- only about 700 engines were produced, and even fewer made it into pickup trucks. The vast majority were powered by the flathead 4 cylinder derived from the Model A. The
65-horsepower 21-stud V8 in this truck is believed to be the original
engine.
This example is completely stock and it maintains a correct, unmolested look inside and out. It starts, runs and drives well -- steering, brakes, clutch, gearbox, etc. The steering box was , however, not replaced so it is loose with an expected amount of play in the steering .
All gauges and lights are working. Tires are new . The
truck shows very well; sheet metal is straight and solid with no known
rust issues on the cab, fenders, running board or frame. The wood bed has been
replaced with walnut from one tree so that its stakes are all one continuous flow! It looks great topside and underneath.
Glass is good. Interior shows well. Almost everything on the truck has been replaced , refurbished or is new old stock . Dependable cooling system , brakes , engine etc. [For more information about this rare
